Synopsis

Three couples, long friends, gather around the same table on weeknights. Lorenzo and Davide share a life. Angelica and Antonio have children and a marriage that works in its own way. Neval is with Roberto, a cop who doesn't quite fit the group. It's comfortable — until a sudden death cracks the whole arrangement open, and grief forces everyone to account for what they've been pretending not to see.
Özpetek is interested in the ordinary contracts people make to keep living together, and what happens when those contracts expire all at once.
