Synopsis

A simple courier run sends Palmer from grubby divorce cases to frozen Latvia and a reunion with KGB colonel Stok, then on to Texas and General Midwinter — a fanatical oil billionaire who has built a vast computer and a private army to wipe out Communism single-handed. Michael Caine returns a third time as Palmer, the bespectacled, weary anti-Bond who never once enjoys the work.
