Puppet Master 5

Puppet Master 5 (1994) is the horror sequel you can watch online on iFILM. Directed by Jeff Burr and billed as the final chapter, it brings the action back to the Bodega Bay Inn, where the deadly little marionettes of late puppeteer Toulon stir to life once more.

This time two hungry forces want the secret. A grasping scientist, Dr. Jennings, schemes to steal the puppets and sell the formula that animates them to the highest bidder. From another dimension, the dark pharaoh Sutekh reaches in too, sending his stone servant Totem to murder young puppet master Rick and seize the magic for himself. Caught between both threats, the tiny killers — led by the blade-handed Blade and the spinning Decapitron — rally to protect their new keeper. Gordon Currie and Chandra West star, with Guy Rolfe back once more as Toulon.

Sold as the saga's farewell (the franchise, naturally, kept going), the film leans on the series' real draw: hand-crafted stop-motion that gives each puppet its own grim personality.
