Synopsis
Puppet Master II (1990) is an American horror sequel you can watch online on iFILM, directed by David Allen for Full Moon Features. A new team of government parapsychologists arrives at the Bodega Bay Inn to investigate what happened to the previous group. The answer, predictably, involves small homicidal puppets. The puppets have also been busy: they've exhumed their creator, André Toulon, and brought him back to life in bandaged form — though his decaying flesh requires human brain matter to stay functional.
The main addition this time is Torch, a puppet fitted with a Kaiser Wilhelm helmet and a flamethrower arm, rounding out a squad that already includes a strangler, a driller, and a hookhand. The plot is thin and that's fine. What Allen — himself an accomplished stop-motion animator — cared about was the puppet work, and the craftsmanship shows in how these foot-tall creatures move and menace.
