Synopsis
Retro Puppetmaster (1999) is a horror film you can watch online on iFILM. The seventh chapter of Full Moon's cult low-budget franchise winds the clock all the way back to ask how young André Toulon ever learned to bring his puppets to life.
Paris, the early 1900s. An aging sorcerer named Afzel turns up at Toulon's door, having stolen the secret of living tissue from the dark Egyptian god Sutekh — the very magic that will one day make those wooden marionettes move and kill. Sutekh's servants hunt Afzel down, and the young puppeteer inherits a gift that doubles as a curse. Toulon is played here by Greg Sestero, later famous as the co-star of Tommy Wiseau's The Room.
