When Frank's top student gets tangled up with drug dealers and turns up dead, the two old-timers decide courts are too slow and fists are faster. Director Craig Moss keeps the tone light and the punches frequent; this is purely a delivery vehicle for Trejo and Glover's chemistry, and the two sell it with obvious enjoyment. No one walks in expecting Scorsese — but for a straight-ahead B-action ride with likable leads and a clean revenge arc, it delivers exactly what the tagline promises.
