Synopsis
Old Man (2022) is a chamber-piece thriller with a horror edge, available to watch online on iFILM. Nearly the whole film unfolds inside one log cabin deep in the woods, where a reclusive old man lives alone. A lost hiker wanders in off the trail — and the host immediately reaches for his shotgun.
From there it becomes a long, jittery conversation between two men trapped in one room. The old man swings from neighborly to furious in a heartbeat, and the stranger is clearly holding something back. Stephen Lang carries almost the entire picture, ricocheting between paranoia, grief and splinters of memory, so you never quite know who the real threat is until the end. Director Lucky McKee builds his suspense out of words and stares, not gore.
It's a movie for anyone who loves tension wrung from a single performance and a cramped space, with an ending that flips everything you thought you understood. Stream Old Man (2022) online on iFILM.
