Lifted

Lifted (2006) is a Pixar animated short you can watch online on iFILM — five minutes directed by Gary Rydstrom, the studio's veteran sound designer making his directorial debut. A nervous alien student sits behind a control panel of hundreds of buttons, tasked with abducting a sleeping farmer while his stern instructor watches from the back of the ship.

The more buttons he presses, the worse it gets. There's no dialogue — just music, expressions and slapstick cause-and-effect that escalates with perfect comic timing.
