TRON: Uprising (Season 1)

TRON: Uprising (2012) is a Disney animated series you can watch online on iFILM. It drops you inside the Grid, a digital world clamped down under the tyrant Clu, and fills the gap between the two TRON films.

A young program named Beck watches a friend fall to Clu's enforcers and decides to fight back. He hides behind the mask of a legendary warrior to rally a revolution, and the real Tron trains him in secret. Elijah Wood voices Beck, while Bruce Boxleitner returns as Tron from the original movies. Standing in their way are the brutal general Tesler and the relentless huntress Paige, who keep the rebellion on the run through every episode.

Directors Charlie Bean and Robert Valley gave the show a sharp, angular look — all neon light-trails and disc weapons, closer to a moving graphic novel than standard cartoon animation. It ran for a single season and was cut short, yet the finale leaves Beck poised for a showdown that never came. Best for fans of the TRON universe and science fiction with a real visual identity.
