Charlie is stuck scrubbing floors at his stepfather's place, invisible to everyone but his own ambitions. When Charlie lands a janitor job at Kadee's father's record label, their worlds collide. A producer spots Charlie's talent and gets him a slot at a masquerade showcase — but Charlie performs in disguise, scared his stepfather will find out. Keke Palmer plays Kadee, Max Schneider plays Charlie; Nick Cannon also appears.
