Synopsis
Welcome to Sudden Death (2020) is an action film directed by Dallas Jackson that you can watch online on iFILM. Michael Jai White plays Jesse Freeman, a former special forces operator who walked away from the job and took a security guard position at a high-tech basketball arena to be closer to his family.
On opening night, a team of terrorists led by Michael Eklund seizes the arena, takes the team's owner hostage — and grabs Jesse's daughter. The building is packed. The exits are covered. And Jesse is the only one on the floor who knows exactly what kind of trouble this is.
It runs a tight 80 minutes and does not try to be anything other than what it is: a contained, single-location thriller with a credible lead and a ticking clock.
