Synopsis

From that ironic landing, Elias sets off across Western Europe toward Paris — on foot, hitching rides, crossing borders without papers. The road throws up strangers: some kind, some hostile, most somewhere in between. Ulrich Tukur and Anny Duperey appear among the faces he meets along the way.
