Synopsis

18 Again! (1988) is a body-swap comedy you can watch online on iFILM. Eighty-one-year-old millionaire Jack Watson has everything except the one thing he keeps wishing for out loud: to be young again. His grandson David, eighteen and shy, would happily trade his awkward life for the old man's swagger.

A car crash grants the wish neither expected. Jack's spirit lands inside David's body while David, stuck in his grandfather's failing frame, slips into a coma. Now Jack has to survive college, gym class and dating from scratch, racing to stop the family from pulling the plug on a man they think is just an old patient dying in a hospital bed.

George Burns, in one of his final screen roles, anchors the film, with Charlie Schlatter playing his 81-year-old cunning trapped in a teenager. It's gentle, sweet-natured fun in the vein of Big, and yes, a very young Pauly Shore turns up too. Stream 18 Again! online on iFILM.
