Moving

Moving (1988) is an Alan Metter comedy headlined by Richard Pryor, and you can watch it online on iFILM. Engineer Arlo Pear loses his job out of nowhere, and the only decent offer on the table sits a thousand miles away in Idaho.

To take it, Arlo uproots the whole household — wife, teenage daughter and twin sons — and hauls them across the country from New Jersey. The move turns into one disaster after another: unhinged movers, neighbors who won't leave, a stubborn house and a road trip where nothing goes to plan.
