Vice Versa

Vice Versa (1988) is an American fantasy comedy directed by Brian Gilbert that you can watch online on iFILM. Marshall Seymour (Judge Reinhold), a department store executive, picks up an ancient Thai skull on a trip with his eleven-year-old son Charlie (Fred Savage), and the artifact does exactly what cursed artifacts do: father and son swap bodies, and the mess begins.

Charlie in his dad's body has to sit through board meetings and pretend to be a functioning adult; Marshall, back in grade school, rediscovers everything he thought he'd left behind. Jane Kaczmarek and Swoosie Kurtz fill out the supporting cast with real comic timing. Vice Versa landed the same year as Big and 18 Again!, so it never quite got the spotlight — but it holds up as a genuinely funny ride built on two performers who commit to playing each other rather than just playing themselves.
