Stealing Harvard

Stealing Harvard (2002) is a US crime comedy you can watch online on iFILM. John has finally saved $30,000 for the house he and his fiancée have been dreaming about — and that's exactly when he remembers an old promise to cover his niece's Harvard tuition, right down to the same amount.

House or promise: he can't fund both. Enter his dim, well-meaning buddy Duff, played with manic energy by Tom Green, who has a foolproof fix — raise the cash through a little petty crime. Foolproof on paper. In practice every robbery collapses into chaos, and Jason Lee's mild-mannered John keeps getting dragged deeper into the mess.

This is a no-frills early-2000s farce that runs on the gap between Lee's deadpan and Green's wild streak, with Leslie Mann, Dennis Farina and an early Nick Offerman turning up along the way. It aims for eighty-odd minutes of dumb fun and delivers exactly that. Watch Stealing Harvard online on iFILM.
