Synopsis
Jamestown (2017) is a Sky One historical drama you can watch online on iFILM. Three women sail from England to colonial Virginia in 1617 — not as adventurers, but as brides promised to men they've never met in a settlement that barely exists yet.
Bea (Sophie Rundle), Alice (Niamh Walsh), and Verity (Naomi Battrick) each carry a past they're trying to leave behind, and arrive to find their new lives nothing like what was advertised. The men who hold the colony together — played by Jason Flemyng and Max Beesley — play by rules that serve themselves first. What the show is really about is the negotiation: how much of themselves these women are willing to trade, and how much they'll fight to keep.
