Synopsis
A Sign of Affection (2024) is a tender shoujo romance anime you can watch online on iFILM. Yuki has been deaf since birth and speaks through sign language. When an upperclassman named Itsuomi helps her on a crowded train, the quiet world she's used to suddenly opens wide.
Itsuomi already speaks three languages and has traveled half the globe, yet he picks up a fourth — signing — just for her. Around them are Yuki's lively friend Rin and Itsuomi's reserved friend Kyoya. The series shows the world of a deaf person from the inside — what silence sounds like, how lips are read, how frightening it is to trust someone who hears.
Adapted from the manga by the duo Suu Morishita and animated by Ajia-Do, the first season runs twelve gentle episodes about a first love with no manufactured drama.
