Watch Silent Witness Season 2 online on iFILM — eight episodes of the British crime drama (1997) following pathologist Sam Ryan. A new detective superintendent now runs the team, and Sam has just buried her mother alongside her sister.
The season opens in a boxing ring, where a fighter dies mid-bout and the trail leads into the ugly world of bare-knuckle fights. Then a body donated to science — a man in the last stage of Aids — turns out to hide a poisoning that only a routine toxicology test catches. Two more cases follow: a married woman killed while having an affair, and an elderly woman whose death the police pin too quickly on a violent drinker. Ryan keeps refusing to bend her findings to fit the easy theory, and the friction turns personal when a killer threatens her directly.
