Synopsis
1½ Ritter (2008) is a German medieval comedy you can watch online on iFILM. Knight Lanze has loved Princess Herzelinde for years without ever admitting it — then the Dark Knight kidnaps her and rides off.
Til Schweiger plays Lanze and shares the director's chair as well. On the road he gets stuck with Erdal (Rick Kavanian), a jittery Turk passing himself off as a knight; together the two add up to the title's "one and a half knights." The chase after the Dark Knight runs on anachronisms, broad gags and a cheerful send-up of every chivalric legend. Udo Kier and Thomas Gottschalk turn up in a crowded ensemble.
