Arsène Lupin III (Shun Oguri) carries a legendary criminal name and treats every impenetrable vault as a personal invitation. His prize this time is the Crimson Heart of Cleopatra, sealed inside a fortress-grade safe nicknamed the Ark of Navarone. To crack it he assembles a crew — the slippery Fujiko (Meisa Kuroki), a stone-faced swordsman, a crack marksman — while Interpol's dogged Inspector Zenigata (Tadanobu Asano) refuses to let him slip out of sight.
Kitamura shoots it big and brash: rooftop chases, gadget-heavy break-ins and the cartoon swagger of the original anime made flesh. There's no hidden depth here, and it doesn't pretend otherwise — pure popcorn for anyone who loves a caper built on likable crooks and elaborate plans.
