Synopsis
An Easy Girl (Une fille facile, 2019) is a French coming-of-age drama directed by Rebecca Zlotowski — watch it online on iFILM. Sixteen-year-old Naïma is spending the summer on the Côte d'Azur when her older cousin Sofia shows up: twenty-two, effortlessly beautiful, moving from yacht to hotel suite on the goodwill of wealthy men without appearing to owe anyone a thing.
Naïma comes from a modest Marseille neighborhood. Sofia's world looks like total freedom. Her best friend Dodo calls it something else. Mina Farid plays Naïma with a watchful intelligence that holds the film together; Zahia Dehar brings a startling stillness to Sofia — a woman who has made her choices and lives inside them without apology. Benoît Magimel rounds out the adult world that the two cousins briefly share.
