Synopsis
The Guide to the Perfect Family (Le guide de la famille parfaite, 2021) is a Québécois dramedy from director Ricardo Trogi, and you can watch online on iFILM. Martin wants flawless kids and a model-dad image for his social feed. He gets the opposite of both.
He rides his teenage daughter about her grades, argues with his second wife over parenting styles, and tries to micromanage a family that keeps slipping away from him. Louis Morissette plays a father who mistakes love for project management, while young Émilie Bierre is the daughter exhausted by being someone else's accomplishment. The humor is dry, awkward and very French-Canadian.
