Synopsis
Sovereign (2025) is an American thriller from Christian Swegal that you can watch online on iFILM. Single father Jerry lives by one conviction — that laws are a fiction — and he pulls his teenage son Joe into that belief one step at a time.
Jerry (Nick Offerman) belongs to the sovereign citizen movement: no IDs, no taxes, nobody else's rules. Freedom, he insists, isn't given to you — you take it. Joe (Jacob Tremblay) grows up inside that logic with nothing to measure it against. The deeper Jerry sinks into his idea, the closer the family drifts toward a head-on collision with a local police chief (Dennis Quaid) who has built his life on the very rules Jerry wants to burn down.
