Synopsis
Perfect High (2015) — watch online on iFILM this Canadian-American TV drama directed by Vanessa Parise. Bella Thorne plays Amanda, a suburban teenager whose injury brings her into a new social circle, and a new habit that starts with borrowed prescription pills.
The slide is gradual and that's the point. Israel Broussard and Daniela Bobadilla play the friends who introduce her to the spiral — and find themselves caught in it too. Ross Butler rounds out the group. Parise doesn't linger on shock value; the film works because it keeps Amanda recognisably human at every stage, right up to the point where she isn't making choices anymore.
