Synopsis
Rehragout-Rendezvous (2023) is a Bavarian crime comedy you can watch online. Germany's laziest cop, Franz Eberhofer, is once again split between a police case and chores on the family farm.
The Eberhofer household is in disarray. Grandma wants to move in with her old rival Mooshammer for the sake of her famous venison stew, leaving the men with no one to cook or clean. Susi, meanwhile, gets bumped up to acting mayor. Then a reward is posted for a missing local farmer, and Franz and his sidekick Rudi have to dig into a cold case. Sebastian Bezzel and Lisa Maria Potthoff slip back into their familiar roles.
This is far from the first Eberhofer outing — the adaptations of Rita Falk's crime novels have grown into a beloved long-running franchise about small-town Bavaria.
