Synopsis
"Pursuit to Algiers" (1945) is a Sherlock Holmes mystery you can watch online on iFILM. Basil Rathbone and Nigel Bruce return as Holmes and Watson — their eleventh film together under Roy William Neill for Universal — this time travelling by ocean liner rather than Baker Street fog.
The assignment sounds manageable: escort a royal heir to Algiers disguised as Watson's nephew and keep the whole operation quiet. It would be, if the ship's passenger list were not full of suspicious faces. At least one of them knows exactly who the prince is.
