Millennium

Millennium (1989) is a time-travel science-fiction film you can watch online on iFILM. Kris Kristofferson plays an air-crash investigator chasing an impossible case: two planes collided, yet the passengers' bodies behave as if they died long before impact.

The answer comes from the distant future. Humanity there has poisoned the Earth and can no longer reproduce, so its only way out is to pull people from the past seconds before certain death, leaving lifeless duplicates in their place. Louise, played by Cheryl Ladd, leads the team of snatchers, and meeting her ties the investigator to an age a thousand years ahead of him. Michael Anderson directs, working from a story by SF writer John Varley.
