Star Trek: Short Treks (Seasons 1–2)

Star Trek: Short Treks (2018) is an anthology of bite-size episodes you can watch online on iFILM, each one filling a corner of the Star Trek universe.

The installments run ten to fifteen minutes and stand on their own, plugging gaps around Star Trek: Discovery. The lens narrows from fleet-wide drama to single characters: Cadet Tilly (Mary Wiseman), the Kelpien Saru (Doug Jones), con man Harry Mudd (Rainn Wilson) and a young Spock (Ethan Peck). A couple of entries are animated; others are near-wordless sketches of life aboard ship.
