Extant (Seasons 1–2)

Extant (2014) is a CBS sci-fi series you can watch online on iFILM, produced by Steven Spielberg. Halle Berry stars as Molly Woods, an astronaut who lands home after thirteen months alone on a deep-space station carrying a secret that defies biology: she is pregnant.

Back on the ground, Molly's family is already unusual — her husband John builds humanoid robots, and their son Ethan is one of them. Whatever happened on the station now pulls at a domestic life that was barely in balance. Goran Visnjic plays John, Hiroyuki Sanada is a colleague whose loyalties shift, and Jeffrey Dean Morgan joins the cast in season two. The show splits its tension between alien contact, artificial intelligence turning unpredictable, and the government institution that monitors all of it.
