Synopsis

This is not the Robin Hood you grew up with. This version of Robin des Bois and his companion Tuck are, frankly, criminals of the most opportunistic kind — they rob the poor, the elderly, anyone who can't run fast enough. Their ambition is to save up for a brothel in town. When they decide to hit the Sheriff of Nottingham's tax office, they run straight into the Sherwood gang — the ones who actually steal from the rich to feed the poor — who had exactly the same idea. Both crews now need to figure out how to pull off the same job without killing each other first.
The film plays the legend completely backwards and does so with the kind of irreverent confidence French comedy does well. At 87 minutes, it moves fast and doesn't ask for much in return. Stream Robin Hood: The True Story online on iFILM.
