From there, twenty-five years rush by on tape: first crushes, stupid stunts with friends, blown chances, weddings and breakups, all caught on home video. Max Boublil plays the grown-up cameraman of his own life, with Alice Isaaz and Alain Chabat alongside him. The result is a warm portrait of the camcorder-and-flip-phone generation — funny when you recognize yourself in it, quietly sad once you clock how fast the reel ran out.
