Bimmer

Bimmer (Bumer, 2003) is a Russian crime drama you can watch online on iFILM, the debut feature from director Pyotr Buslov. A black BMW and four friends tear through nighttime Moscow, outrunning a chase.

One burst of gunfire puts the crew outside the law, and there is no road back. Kostyl, Rama, Kot and Killa flee the capital in their trusty "bimmer," pushing deeper into the provinces where the rules simply stop applying. Broken highways, shakedowns, crooked cops and frozen backwoods pile up, and the car that once stood for the good life slowly turns into the only home they have left. None of them wanted to kill. None of them meant to die.

Buslov's first film became a snapshot of the post-Soviet nineties and one of the defining Russian movies of its decade, with Vladimir Vdovichenkov, Andrey Merzlikin, Maksim Konovalov and Sergey Gorobchenko in the four lead roles.
