Synopsis
Mariah Carey's Magical Christmas Special (2020) is a holiday music event you can watch online on iFILM — forty-odd minutes of songs, glitter and famous guests hosted by the self-crowned Queen of Christmas.
The framing is pure fairy tale: the North Pole hits a sudden shortage of holiday cheer, and only one person can fix it — Santa's old friend Mariah. From there it's a run of musical numbers where she's joined by Ariana Grande, Jennifer Hudson, Snoop Dogg, Tiffany Haddish and Billie Eichner, with Millie Bobby Brown turning up along the way. Hamish Hamilton and Roman Coppola direct.
