Synopsis
Bad Moon (1996) is a werewolf horror film you can watch online on iFILM, written and directed by Eric Red and starring Mariel Hemingway and Michael Paré. Ted Harrison, a nature photographer, comes back from a contract in Southeast Asia a changed man — withdrawn, tense, pitching his trailer in the woods behind his sister Janet's house rather than coming inside. Janet's son Brett is glad to have his uncle around. The family dog Thor is not.
Adapted from Wayne Smith's novel, the film hands its point-of-view mostly to the dog — and that choice is what sets it apart from standard werewolf entries. Thor figures out what Ted brought back from the jungle long before any human does, and the last act belongs entirely to him.
