Synopsis
100 Feet (2008) is an American horror film directed by Eric Red — watch online on iFILM. Marnie Watson (Famke Janssen) walks out of prison after killing her abusive husband and lands straight into house arrest: an ankle monitor, four walls, and a hundred-foot radius she cannot cross. Those four walls happen to be the house where she killed him.
He did not leave. Doors slam without wind. Furniture rearranges itself. The violence that put him in the ground finds new ways to express itself. Bobby Cannavale plays the cop who checks the monitor every few days — and clearly enjoys watching her squirm. Ed Westwick turns up as a neighbor's kid who wanders into something he can't explain.
What gives the film an edge is how the horror mechanics grow directly from the premise: the punishment of confinement becomes the trap, and the abuser's ghost enforces the same control he had in life. It's a tight, mean little movie with a smart central idea. Stream 100 Feet (2008) online on iFILM.
