Synopsis
Dirty Weekend (2015) is an American comedy-drama to watch online on iFILM, directed by Neil LaBute. Two work colleagues — Les and Natalie — get stranded in Albuquerque on a layover, with an unplanned afternoon and nowhere in particular to be.
Les is edgy about being back in the city. Something happened here on a previous trip and he doesn't remember it clearly, which turns out to be worse than remembering it badly. Natalie refuses to leave his side, and as they drift through the afternoon her own quiet history starts surfacing. Matthew Broderick and Alice Eve hold the whole film as a two-hander — mostly conversation, occasionally revealing, with LaBute's familiar ear for what people deflect rather than say.
