Synopsis

It unravels from there. The path vanishes, there is no phone signal, supplies run thin, and the couple drifts further into the range of an aggressive black bear. Director Adam MacDonald wrings the dread out of small things: stubbornness, pride, one bad call stacked on the next. Missy Peregrym carries the lead, with Jeff Roop and Eric Balfour alongside her. Loosely drawn from a true story, the attack scene plays out so blunt and unblinking that it is hard to shake afterward.
