Sintel

Sintel (2010) is a fantasy short directed by Colin Levy, and you can watch it online on iFILM. The Dutch Blender Institute made this fourteen-minute film as an open movie — a way to show off the free Blender 3D suite while telling a complete story of its own.

A wandering young woman named Sintel rescues a wounded dragon hatchling and grows to love it as the one creature she has left. When it's taken from her, she sets out across mountains and wastelands to get it back. The ending is brief and unexpectedly cruel — two minutes that recolor everything before them.
