Synopsis
August Underground's Penance (2007) — watch online on iFILM — is the third and final film in Fred Vogel's August Underground series. The format is the same as in the previous two entries: raw camcorder footage presented as recovered home video from two unnamed killers. No musical score. No conventional narrative arc.
Penance follows the pair deeper into their own unraveling. Vogel directs and stars alongside Cristie Whiles. The film assumes familiarity with the series and offers no soft entry points. Stream it on iFILM.
