Synopsis

Nina Hoss carries the film almost wordlessly, hope and unease flickering across a single glance. Her new job drops her into the world of venture-capital deal-making — figures, handshakes, other people's money tossed around like chips. The past, though, refuses to stay buried. Ben turns up where he shouldn't be, and the reality around her starts to ripple in ways she can't quite name. Petzold keeps you off balance without ever raising his voice, and that quiet is scarier than any scream.
