Synopsis

Jack Palance is Raza; Claudia Cardinale is the woman they've been sent to retrieve. Based on Frank O'Rourke's novel A Mule for the Marquesa, the film landed three Oscar nominations — for Brooks' direction, his screenplay, and Conrad Hall's camerawork across the desert landscapes.
