Bill Nye the Science Guy (1993–1998) is the American kids' science show you can watch online on iFILM. Its host is engineer Bill Nye, bow tie and all.
The format is dead simple: one episode, one topic. The heart, electricity, gravity, dinosaurs, volcanoes. Nye doesn't lecture — he blows things up, drops them, sets them on fire and builds them back, cutting between experiments with rapid edits and goofy music-video parodies. It plays just as well for the kid watching as for the adult who wandered in. Roughly a hundred episodes in all.
Aired on PBS, the series became a fixture of American classrooms and raised a whole generation on its experiments. Across five seasons it pulled in nineteen Emmy Awards.
