Synopsis
Mahsun J (2024) is a Turkish comedy series streaming online on iFILM. Mahsun rides a motorcycle around Istanbul delivering packages and sinking deeper into debt. Then he stumbles onto what he decides is his greatest talent — and pivots, improbably, to becoming a gigolo.
His partner in this venture is Leyla, a former advertising executive whose career has stalled as badly as his. She takes the role of manager. Director Ömer Sinir keeps the whole thing moving through Mahsun Karaca and Eda Akalın, who make an oddly convincing team out of two people who have no idea what they're doing. The comedy comes from watching them improvise their way through every new disaster.
