Synopsis

It's the 1960s, and the setting is mostly ornamental. What John actually inhabits are memories — fragments of a career spent in the shadows, replayed in air-conditioned silence. When the woman in the adjacent room vanishes without a trace, he finds himself pulled back into something he thought he'd outrun. Old faces. Old fears. The glamour starts to crack.
Cattet and Forzani made their name bending giallo into something hallucinatory — Amer, Let the Corpses Tan. Here they pull the tempo down into a more melancholic register: a man trying to separate what actually happened from what he has spent fifty years rewriting in his head.
