Synopsis
The Goat (1921) is a 23-minute silent comedy from Buster Keaton you can watch online on iFILM. A starving drifter pokes his face through a window just as a mugshot is being snapped — and suddenly the whole town believes he's a wanted killer called Dead Shot Dan.
What follows is one long chase. Police, a furious cop's daughter who falls for him, a runaway elevator, a horse-drawn cart — Keaton dodges all of it with that famous stone face and never a stunt double in sight. He co-directed the short with Malcolm St. Clair, building every gag on real physical risk rather than camera tricks.
