Counterfeiters have rigged the place with mechanical scares — a staircase that flattens into a slide, furniture that crawls on its own — and a travelling theatre troupe drifts through in ghost sheets, rehearsing Faust. Nineteen minutes of pure acrobatics and gags that Keaton designed and performed himself, no stunt double and no safety net, the kind of work that built his silent-era legend. Co-directed by Edward F.
