The Frozen North (1922) is a Buster Keaton silent short you can watch online on iFILM. Eighteen minutes of deadpan comedy aimed straight at the weepy cowboy melodramas William S. Hart built his name on.

Keaton gets off at the "last stop on the subway" — somewhere in the icy middle of nowhere — and promptly turns it into chaos. A drawn pistol, a case of mistaken identity, a robbed gambling den, and the near-shooting of his own wife's supposed lover. Keaton co-directed with Edward F. Cline, with Joe Roberts and Sybil Seely filling out the small cast.
