They meet in the bathroom of an art gallery and somehow end up spending the afternoon together — navigating an awkward run-in with an ex, crashing a dinner party, wandering through the market stalls and side streets of Brixton and Peckham. Allen-Miller shoots it all on a wide anamorphic lens that makes South London look vivid and slightly dreamlike.

What the film gets right is tone: it trusts that two sharp, funny people bouncing off each other is enough, without manufacturing grand romantic gestures.
