Synopsis

Dom just found out his girlfriend slept with his best friend. Yas is still raw from her own split. They meet in the bathroom of an art gallery and somehow end up spending the afternoon together — navigating an awkward run-in with an ex, crashing a dinner party, wandering through the market stalls and side streets of Brixton and Peckham. Allen-Miller shoots it all on a wide anamorphic lens that makes South London look vivid and slightly dreamlike.
What the film gets right is tone: it trusts that two sharp, funny people bouncing off each other is enough, without manufacturing grand romantic gestures.
