A passing plane finally gets him noticed, and soon he's shipped back to the States, where old partner Ollie spots his face in the newspaper and brings him home for an anniversary dinner. What follows is the duo at full tilt: a wrecked apartment, a furious neighbor played by Billy Gilbert, and a wheelchair bit Stan somehow stretches for miles. Director John G. Blystone keeps it to a brisk 57 minutes. This is prime late-period Laurel and Hardy — daft, gleefully destructive, and built entirely on two faces reacting to disaster.
